Salvi's to open new Northern Quarter location

Italian food chain Salvi’s are to open a new eatery in the Northern Quarter.

The owners took to Twitter this afternoon to tease the new spot on High Street next to the Federal café and bar and Shack Bar.

Family-run Salvi’s currently operate a number of restaurants and shops in Manchester including a deli in the Corn Exchange and a pizzeria on John Dalton Street.

It has not been confirmed when the new location will open but Salvi’s have said they will be releasing the full menu ‘soon’.

Salvi’s has previously won an award from Marchio Ospitalita Italiana, which honours the most authentic Italian restaurants around the world.

Speaking to The Northern Quarter Post, a representative for Salvi's said they had been looking at the Northern Quarter for their next restaurant for a while.

"As an independent, family run business, we really love the idea of being in such a buzzing and independent area!"

They think they will make a great addition to the food and drink scene which already exists in the area.

"We're really looking forward to opening and getting to meet everyone!"
